Haris Džinović

One of the most respected and longest-standing musicians of the regional scene, Haris Džinović, will hold a major concert at the Arena Pula on Friday, August 14, 2026. The audience, in the unique setting of one of the most beautiful ancient amphitheaters, can expect an evening filled with emotion, timeless hits, and the top-tier performance for which Haris has been known for decades.

Throughout a career spanning more than four decades, Haris Džinović has left an indelible mark on the music scene. His songs such as “Ostarit ću, neću znati,” “Muštuluk,” “I tebe sam sit kafano,” “Pariške kapije” and many others have become classics that connect generations and are regularly sung in unison at concerts across the region.

That he is an exceptional musician was evident from the very beginning of his career, when Haris achieved undeniable success through the interpretation and promotion of Roma music. With the group Sar e Roma, he quickly rose to the very top of popularity, accompanied by significant media attention. A special place in his career is held by the recording of the jubilee, 1000th version of the global hit “My Way”, performed in the Romani language under the title “Kantar cigan”, initiated by Izabel Fore, the wife of the legendary French composer Claude François and author of “My Way.”

One of the standout moments of his long career was his guest appearance in 2011 at the concert of the renowned Montserrat Caballé in Belgrade, where he performed Neapolitan classics and shone in a duet with the opera diva on “Non ti scordar di me”, confirming his vocal maturity and interpretative range.

The concert at the Arena Pula in August 2026 will be a retrospective of his impressive career—from early hits to songs that marked his more recent period—featuring numerous guests and friends, top-level production, and a special experience provided by the historic setting of the Arena.

“A concert at the Arena Pula is on the wish list of every serious musician. It is a great joy and responsibility to see such a wish come true,” Haris said while announcing this unique event.

What will particularly delight concertgoers is the information that part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be directed to charitable causes.
