The 31st Srebrenica Parade is organized by the Bosniak National Community of Pula and the Istrian County in cooperation with the Bosniak National Minority Council of the City of Pula and other Bosniak organizations and associations. The commemoration of the 31st Srebrenica honors and remembers the innocent victims and raises citizens' awareness of the importance of remembrance, forgiveness, and peace.
The Srebrenica genocide took place between July 13 and 19, 1995, during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which more than 8,372 Bosniak men and women from the Srebrenica enclave were killed.
The memorial parade will start from Green market at 6:00 PM, will pass through Flanatička Street, Portarata Square, Sergijevaca Street all the way to Forum, where a commemorative program will be held in front of the Temple of Augustus.
