Goran Bojčevski & Acoustic Shades of the World "Music for Peace and Tolerance"
Goran Bojčevski at Istrian National Theatre: A Musical Manifesto of Peace in the “Only the Best” Series
The INK proudly announces a concert by a virtuoso who transcends genre boundaries. Goran Bojčevski, a graduate of the prestigious Mozarteum University Salzburg and one of today’s leading clarinetists, brings his project Acoustic Shades of the World. The concert will take place on June 18, 2026, at 8 PM as part of the “Only the Best” series, perfectly aligned with the season’s motto, “Ode to Peace.”
This versatile Macedonian artist based in Slovenia has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Gibonni, Vlatko Stefanovski, Parni Valjak, and Matija Dedić, while legendary guitarist Al Di Meola featured him as a guest performer at his concert in Cankarjev dom. His signature style, “Balkan Nuevo,” blends the elegance of classical music, the freedom of jazz, and the passion of Balkan melodies.
On the INK stage, Bojčevski will perform not only on the clarinet, but also on exotic instruments such as the duduk, frula, and kaval. Accompanied by an outstanding ensemble — A. Frece, J. Sever, J. Vindšnurer, M. Dolenc, and G. Hrovat — he will take the audience on a healing musical journey from Europe and the Balkans to the Orient.
