Mixed Choir Concert "Echoes of Music"

On Friday, 3 July 2026, at 8:30 p.m., the mixed choir Cantus PoPuli of Pula, under the direction of its founder and conductor Tatjana Merkl, will present “Echoes of Music”, an evening concert held at Fort Casoni Vecchi (Monteparadiso). The event is organized with the support of the City of Pula and the Pula Tourist Board.

Since 2022, the concert has been held in celebration of St. Thomas the Apostle, the patron saint of the City of Pula, and is conceived as an enjoyable musical gathering dedicated to all music lovers. The first two editions took place in the atmospheric Zerostrasse tunnels, while since 2024 the event has found its home at Fort Casoni Vecchi.

Visitors can look forward to a diverse and engaging programme, featuring energetic performances and a wide-ranging musical repertoire.

Cantus PoPuli would like to express its sincere gratitude to the City of Pula and the Pula Tourist Board for their continued support, as well as to the Association for the Preservation and Revitalization of Fort Casoni Vecchi, whose generosity in making this iconic fortress available has helped make this cultural event possible.
