18th Days of Creativity 2026
The 18th Days of Creativity will take place in 2026 in Pula, Medulin, Pomer, Pješčana Uvala, and Vodnjan.
The central concept of the 18th Days of Creativity is the promotion of applied arts through exhibitions and workshops for adults and children.
The adult workshops focus on learning and working with different combinations of materials, providing participants with practical knowledge and skills that they can continue to develop independently. The programme includes pottery throwing, ceramic colouring, Nerikomi ceramic techniques, a ceramics and glass workshop, ceramic decoration, fresco painting, sculpture making, and raku ceramics.
The 18th Days of Creativity will also feature five exhibitions. The programme opens with the exhibition by members of the Art Studio association entitled "PLACES OF ENCOUNTER – Nine Site-Specific Interventions Underground", installed in the Zerostrasse underground tunnels in Pula. Using ceramics in combination with other materials such as metal, wood, stone, and glass, the artists explore the expressive possibilities of clay.
The SKUC Gallery will host the solo exhibition "BETWEEN THREE" (Između tri) by Gordana Brborović, a talented ceramic artist from Pula and a member of the association for the past seventeen years. This will be her third solo exhibition, presenting her meticulous works composed of multiple ceramic elements.
The third exhibition is the solo show "SILENCES" (Tišine) by Lena Beletić, a visual artist and ceramicist from Pula, presented at the ECPD – Regional Centre for Development Studies in Pula.
A pop-up exhibition of large-scale thrown ceramic vases by Nataša Krajnović will be presented in Vodnjan.
The Days of Creativity will conclude with a final exhibition showcasing works created during all workshops held as part of the 18th Days of Creativity, hosted at Šantadur – the Heritage and Sustainable Development Centre in Medulin.
As part of the children's programme LITTLE CREATORS (Mali stvaraoci), three workshops will be held in kindergartens in Pula, Medulin, and Vodnjan.
