Without relying on digital media, Jule develops her work through the direct relationship between hand, material, and surface, affirming painting as a deeply tactile and authentic medium.

Art and painting have accompanied the artist, born in Wuppertal, since childhood, serving as a space for freedom and self-discovery.

Already during her studies, she exhibited in both national and international exhibitions and received several awards and recognitions. Her distinctive artistic style is characterized by a bold use of color and intricate details, rich in reflections, motivations, and symbolism associated with blessings and positivity.

Since 2016, she has once again been living and working in her hometown as an independent artist.

Her subjects—culture, personal development, gender roles, spirituality, climate, and environmental protection—are as diverse as the artistic forms through which she expresses them: dance, music, film, painting, design, and photography.

Jule Lucia Companie studied photography at the Berlin University of Applied Arts on a scholarship and completed a Master’s degree in Strategic Product Development and Innovation at the University of Wuppertal.
