"PUliks" – The Story of an Irish Lad Through the Eyes of a Pula Girl
Disabled access provided
Join us and listen to the story of an Irish character through the eyes of a girl from Pula – teacher and storyteller Petra Rajh. Both of them teach, read, write and stroll through the streets of Pula. But which one of them is the real character?
As part of this year’s Bloomsday in Pula programme, the library and James Joyce invite you to join them on Thursday, 18 June 2026, at 10:00 AM in Valerija Park. Beneath the trees at the foot of the Arena, Petra Rajh will tell the story of the famous Irish writer who spent a brief period living in Pula.
The workshop is open to everyone – children and adults alike – and no registration is required.
The programme is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
