Exhibition “The Officer with a rose” by Žarko Laušević

As part of the 73rd Pula Film Festival (PFF), an accompanying festival programme will feature the exhibition “The Officer with a rose – Žarko Laušević” at SKUC Gallery, Maksimijanova 12, Pula. The exhibition is dedicated to the great actor Žarko Laušević, who received the Golden Arena Award for Best Leading Actor  in film directed by Dejan Šorak, in 1987.

The exhibition presents a selection of film and theatre posters from movies and stage productions in which Žarko Laušević performed notable roles, as well as a selection of private photographs from the Laušević family archive.

The exhibition will be officially opened on 8 July at 9:00 p.m. and will remain open throughout the duration of the festival, daily from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In addition to the exhibition, a presentation of the monograph “Žarko Laušević”, published by Hipatija and edited by Radmila Stanković, will take place at the Festival Centre of the 73rd PFF on 10 July 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

Alongside Radmila Stanković, Benita Marinović from Hipatija will participate in the presentation. The event will be moderated by writer Đorđe Matić, one of the contributors to the monograph.
