The Cultural and Artistic Association "Uljanik" is a society with a 58-year-long tradition of preserving folk heritage. In its repertoire, in addition to choreographies of traditional dances from its homeland, it has dances from almost all parts of Croatia and beyond. In addition to the wealth of choreographies, the Cultural and Artistic Association "Uljanik" can also boast an enviable collection of folk costumes and traditional instruments. The Cultural and Artistic Association "Uljanik" has won numerous awards and recognitions, of which we highlight those for the originality of the presentation of dances and customs, vocal performance, and work and contribution to the preservation of traditional culture. Namely, all dances are performed in folk costumes accompanied by instruments from the region they come from. In addition to everything read, Kud Uljanik participates in various festivals and events in the country and abroad, of which the following participations can be highlighted for the past and this year: Celebration of the birthday of Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac in Krašić International folklore festival in Glina Concert on the occasion of the day of the city of Pazin Event on the occasion of the "160th anniversary of the Kurelićs" in Pićan and participation in the international Folklore festival in Kadzidlo, Poland, in which groups from Poland and Georgia also participated... Event of the Living Images of Austro-Hungarian Pula Folklore festival in Dražice-Jelenje Participation in the 20th Festival of Bosniak Culture in Pula Folklore festival in Maruševac (Važdin) International festival of original folklore LIDAS Pleternica And many other participations.
