The much-loved children's programme Pulica brings five mornings of films for children and families. From 6 to 10 July, Kino Valli will screen a carefully selected programme of European live-action and animated films every day at 10 a.m. Through engaging stories about friendship, family, growing up and courage, these films invite young audiences into the world of cinema.
Summer in Summerby, a German family feature, follows three children who, after their mother's accident, spend the summer with a grandmother they barely know. What begins as an unwanted holiday gradually turns into an unforgettable experience that changes the way they see family and growing up.
The Romanian-Bulgarian family feature My Fantastic Life tells the story of ten-year-old Filip who, after a mix-up while buying school trainers, sets out on his own to correct the mistake. His journey soon becomes an unexpected urban adventure and a story of resourcefulness and independence.
Lotte & Totte, a Danish animated film, follows four-year-old Lotte, who moves to the countryside and befriends a boy named Totte. Through their friendship, she discovers the importance of understanding and forgiveness.
The Italian family drama My Sweet Land centres on Nico, a young boy who spends his summer holidays in Sicily with his great-aunt. Away from technology and surrounded by new friendships, he discovers a different perspective on the world and on himself.
The Slovenian family feature Elvis Škorc is a warm and moving story about a fourteen-year-old boy whose life is turned upside down by his parents' divorce and his mother's pregnancy. The film is based on the popular novel by Janja Vidmar.
