Jazz Evening with Marko Olujić

This Tuesday, July 21, starting at 9:00 p.m., join us for a relaxed Jazz Evening with Marko Olujić in the garden of Gradska radionica in Pula.

For the past eight years, Marko Olujić has been based in Stockholm, where he performs with two musical projects – Ämnet and Grundämnet – both exploring the same musical essence in two radically different ways. While the eight-member Ämnet can be described as an explosive fusion ensemble, Grundämnet offers a calming counterpart through acoustic duo arrangements, primarily inspired by jazz and Latin music.

For this special occasion, Marko will present his original songs in both Swedish and Croatian, while also performing a selection of jazz standards in chord-melody arrangements. Surprise guest musicians may join the performance, and the evening may conclude with an informal jam session, so feel free to bring your instruments and join in.

The activities of Gradska radionica are supported by the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Media and the City of Pula.
