Art Panoptikum LXIX

Art Panoptikum, presenting international visual art exhibitions, will be held for the sixty-ninth time on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at 8:30 p.m. in the outdoor space of Gradska Radionica in Pula.

The first topic will introduce the distinctive open-air museum "Purple Path", one of the central activities of the Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025 project.

The next presentation will focus on the exhibition "Directions to My House" by Zarina Hashmi, one of the most significant printmakers of the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. The exhibition is on view at the Singapore Tyler Print Institute until 1 August.

This will be followed by the exhibition "It Doesn't Have to Always Make Sense" by Ghanaian painter Amoako Boafo, on view at the Museo di Palazzo Grimani in Venice until 22 November.

The following topic will be devoted to the group exhibition "House of Nisaba: New Stories of Painting", on display at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm until 30 August.

After that comes the exhibition "Mammoth" by American artist Nick Cave, on view at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington until 3 January 2027.

The next topic will examine the group exhibition "Beyond the Manosphere – Masculinities Today", on display at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam until 2 August.

The programme will conclude with the presentation of "High Seas; Closed Skies", an exhibition by Pakistani-American visual artist Shahzia Sikander, on view at the Victoria Miro gallery in London until 31 July.

Art Panoptikum is prepared and hosted by Boris Bogunović and is conducted in the Croatian language. The activities of Gradska Radionica are supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and the City of Pula. Admission to all events is free.
