This award-winning hit production by Belgrade's Bitef Theatre, arriving in Pula for the first time after more than 150 performances across Europe, explores the phenomenon of Lepa Brena, the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia, and the destinies of its people. Through five personas—Brena the Businesswoman, the Yugoslav, of Sexuality, the Builder and of Song—woven into a single narrative, texts by five acclaimed playwrights create an emotional rollercoaster that reflects the complexity of the past four decades in the region.

This outstanding work of political theatre and bittersweet Balkan cabaret is far more than a biography. It is a story about social transformation, hope, loss, and all of us who have lived through these changes. The cast features an outstanding performance by Jasna Đuričić, recipient of the European Best Actress Award. The production offers a genuine theatrical catharsis, confronting audiences with shared memories and collective dreams.
