The orchestra is composed of musicians of various ages and backgrounds—ranging from high school and university students to office workers, professors, economists, and others. Through numerous performances, concert tours, and competitions, the orchestra has won many awards and accolades, earning the unanimous appreciation of both adjudicators and audiences while promoting the city of Pula, Istria, and Croatia across Europe and the Americas. Through its performances, the orchestra promotes its art form, contributing to the strengthening of the cultural identity of our city and Croatia on a global scale. Its approach fosters a distinct and elevated perception of the accordion as a musical instrument. The orchestra’s repertoire spans various historical periods, extending to the works of contemporary domestic and international composers.
