KUD Uljanik - Istrian traditional folklore heritage

KUD "Uljanik" is a society with a 58-year tradition of preserving folklore heritage.

Its repertoire includes not only choreographies of traditional dances from its immediate region but also dances from almost every part of Croatia and beyond. In addition to its rich array of choreographies, KUD "Uljanik" boasts an impressive collection of folk costumes and traditional instruments. The "Uljanik" Cultural and Artistic Society has received numerous accolades and awards, notably for the authenticity of its dance and custom portrayals, vocal performances, and its work and contribution to the preservation of traditional culture.

Indeed, all dances are performed in authentic costumes and accompanied by instruments specific to the regions from which the dances originate.
