Concert of the Istrian Chamber Orchestra as part of the 2nd Concert Season

The Istrian Chamber Orchestra continues its 2nd Concert Season with a concert in the unique and inspiring setting of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The audience can look forward to a concert evening featuring an engaging combination of solo performances:

A special highlight of the concert will be the Pula premiere of the Concertino for Double Bass and Orchestra by Pula-born composer Branko Okmaca. The orchestra will be conducted by Petar Matošević.

The combination of a chamber orchestra, five different solo instruments, and the distinctive acoustics of the cathedral will offer the audience a diverse and exceptional concert experience. This event marks another chapter in the project through which the Istrian Chamber Orchestra continues to develop and expand its concert activities throughout Istria.

Programme: G. F. Handel, O. Respighi, E. Séjourné, G. Hermosa, H. Wieniawski, A. Dvořák, B. Okmaca

The concert is part of the 2nd Concert Season of the Istrian Chamber Orchestra, held under the general patronage of the Department of Culture of the Istrian Region and the City of Pula.
