PINK BLINK

Pink Blink consists of numerous boxes wrapped in pink paper. The everyday act of wrapping them becomes a meditative gesture, a way of temporarily escaping from a reality marked by disturbing news.

Every day, I wrap one piece of news in pink. The process is repeated, growing and expanding, like the endless flow of information that overwhelms us on a daily basis. The work’s arbitrary dimensions, approximately 450 × 100 × 150 cm, reflect precisely this sense of boundlessness.

The pink paper conceals what is difficult, ugly, and disturbing. At the same time, the gesture embodies a need for beauty, tenderness, and safety, as well as a nostalgic longing for some better times.

Pink Blink is a quiet act of resistance. A gesture of tenderness amidst chaos. The pink wrapping becomes a symbol of hope and an attempt not to erase negativity, but to temporarily envelop it in something that protects the human spirit.
