Lecture “From Artistic to Artificial Intelligence”
Disabled access provided
From Artistic to Artificial Intelligence is the title of the lecture that Associate Professor Igor Grbić, PhD, will give on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, at the Central Library.
The lecture begins at 6 p.m. and admission is free.
About the lecture:
Since the invention of the printing press, and particularly with the emergence of a wide range of electronic media, the way we read and write, and consequently the way we think, feel and communicate, has been constantly changing. Artificial intelligence has now brought all of this into question. This lecture is not intended as a specialist, and especially not a technological, examination of the subject, but rather as an artistic, cultural and spiritual contribution to a better understanding of what is happening to us right now.
Igor Grbić is a poet, fiction writer, essayist, translator, literary theorist and university professor. He is the author of 13 works of literature and scholarly books.
