Dejan Kljun’s painting is free from any narrative or literary references, as it stems from a process of subjective explorations of an abstract nature, in which the artist recognizes a stylistic and moral obligation to preserve the integrity of painterly, artistic, and ethical expression. Without shying away from faith in his own mental strength, while at the same time surrendering to emotion and spontaneity, Dejan has created paintings imbued with a distinctive form of abstract intimacy. They come together to form a genuine artistic worldview characterized by refined visual expression and unfeigned sincerity, through which the artist seeks to counteract the accelerating inflation of human creativity.

With this cycle, Kljun remains faithful to his artistic path, which he has developed primarily through sculpture as a personal artistic adventure, deliberately ignoring trends and grounding his expression in the personal affirmation of artistic practice and its intellectual interpretation, while persistently calling for an awakening of human social and ecological awareness.
