A Jam Session is a live musical performance widely regarded as one of the highest forms of musical expression!

Jam Session / Open Stage will take place in collaboration with musicians from Pula and distinguished guests from across the region. The performances will explore a wide range of styles, including fusion, jazz, funk, blues, freestyle and free improvisation.

As bandleader, Marco Quarantotto will coordinate the musicians and assemble the lineup according to their musical interests and availability. The Jam Session House Band will feature a different combination of musicians each time, forming a standard performing trio or quartet, with the classic band setup of drums, bass, guitar and keyboards.

Each edition will feature a unique lineup performing a set before opening the stage to the Open Stage session, inviting musicians who have registered in advance or arranged their participation with the bandleader on the spot.

Open Stage is all about openness and participation: any musician who wants to join the House Band is welcome to do so by contacting the bandleader in advance or signing up at the event itself. The only thing you need to bring to take part is your instrument!
