Come to the Neighbourhood wraps up this year’s edition in Veruda with funk disco, creative workshops and fun for all generations!

The final event of this year’s Come to the Neighbourhood programme will take place at King Tomislav Square on Saturday, 17 October, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Another morning filled with great music, dancing, creativity, sports and outdoor socialising awaits you!

This time, Groovoteka will set the musical mood with infectious funk disco beats, inviting visitors to dance and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.

The youngest visitors can enjoy inflatables and a creative kite-making workshop hosted by Zemlja zabave. Sports enthusiasts will once again have the opportunity to improve their skills during an outdoor rollerblading session organised by Pula Inline. Decathlon will also provide plenty of sports equipment for everyone to use freely.

As always, the event highlights ecology, sustainability and the responsible reuse of items we no longer need. Herculanea Pula will set up its mini mobile recycling centre, where visitors can learn more about proper waste sorting and disposal.

The programme also features two opportunities to exchange items and give them a new lease of life: Herculanea’s Mini Mobile Rebus – “Bring One, Take One”, a station for the free exchange of useful items, and the “TIDAM-TIDAŠ” swap market organised by Zelene Istre. After all, what one person no longer needs might be exactly what someone else is looking for!

Curious minds and creative hands will be in good company with the Pula City Library and Reading Room, which will host the creative workshop IZUMIONICA – A Patent for an AHA Moment, encouraging imagination, exploration and the development of new ideas.

The creative programme will also include a workshop by Art Studio, where participants can decorate ceramic plates, express their imagination and add a personal touch to their creations.

See you in Veruda!
