20th klapa gathering “Puna mi Pula"

A Jubilee Evening Celebrating Klapa Singing, Tradition and Togetherness

We are delighted to announce the 20th edition of the “Puna mi Pula” Klapa Gathering, which will take place on November 7, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the Croatian Defenders’ Hall in Pula, Croatia. This jubilee event celebrates two decades of love for klapa singing, dedication to preserving musical traditions, and bringing together vocal ensembles that preserve and promote the richness of Croatia’s vocal heritage through the traditional art of klapa singing. Over the past twenty years, “Puna mi Pula” has become a well-established musical event, bringing klapa ensembles from different parts of Croatia to Pula and creating opportunities for musical encounters, the exchange of experiences, and the fostering of friendship through song. This year’s jubilee gathering will feature:

 - Children’s Klapa Bepo from Omiš

- Men’s Klapa Kaše from Dubrovnik

- Men’s Klapa Bošket from Zagreb

- Women’s Klapa Dišpet from Zagreb

- Men’s Klapa Pinguentum from Buzet

- Women’s Klapa Teranke from Pula

We are particularly delighted that this event will bring together different generations and voices, from the youngest ambassadors of klapa tradition to experienced, award-winning ensembles that have made their mark at numerous national and international festivals. Each klapa brings its own story, distinctive musical expression, and unique emotional character, while all share a common passion for Croatia’s rich vocal tradition. We warmly invite all lovers of klapa singing to join us in celebrating this special anniversary and enjoy an unforgettable evening of traditional Croatian vocal music. The event is held under the patronage of the City of Pula and the Istrian County. The organizers are the Pula City Wind Orchestra and the women’s klapa Teranke.
