Apoteka – Space for Contemporary Art is an arts organization based in Vodnjan, founded in 2013 by Matija Debeljuh and Branka Benčić. Through its activities, Apoteka develops a range of programs focused on contemporary artistic and curatorial practices. It operates through exhibitions, research, interdisciplinary and audiovisual projects, as well as collaborations with local and international partners. Apoteka is active within a broader artistic and cultural context, realizing numerous projects both within and beyond its own exhibition space.

In addition to its annual programme presented at its venue, Apoteka organizes Cinemaniac > Misliti film, a long-running accompanying programme of the Pula Film Festival. Since 2002, the project has explored the relationships between film, moving images and contemporary art through exhibitions, screenings, talks and research-based programmes.
