For more than three decades, the National Community of Bosniaks of Istria has proudly stood as a bridge of unity, a guardian of identity and a promoter of the rich Bosnian and Herzegovinian culture and tradition in the Istrian region. Throughout its 31 years of activity, our association has brought the spirit of tradition through numerous programs and events, brought people together and enriched the cultural life of the local community.

Our work is recognizable by the events that have become traditional pillars of cultural events in the region:

1. Festival of Bosniak Culture in Istria – Our central and most recognizable event, which this year proudly celebrates its 21st anniversary.

2. Culture, Art and Science – We continuously organize photo exhibitions, round tables, scientific conferences and book promotions, encouraging dialogue and the spread of knowledge.

3. A Song that Connects – Our choir "Istarske gondže" also works with passion within the association, whose voices keep the traditional song sevdalinka from being forgotten.
