The Archaeological Museum of Istria is one of the largest museums in the Republic of Croatia, founded in 1902. Its primary role is to research, protect, preserve, present, and promote the archaeological, historical, and cultural heritage of the Istrian Peninsula. Today, the museum's collection comprises more than 125,000 artefacts.
