Organizations

The association was founded on October 23, 1999 in Pula with the aim of nurturing Hungarian culture. Today, it has 135 members from the entire Istrian County and there is only one Hungarian association in this area, which is MKD "Moricz Zsigmond". The main activities of the association are: preparation and organization of events, various cultural programs, celebration of holidays, nurturing Hungarian national culture in writing, speech through music, dance and dramatic expression. We have several sections in the association so that everyone feels welcome and contributes to nurturing Hungarian traditional culture with their work. These are the dance section, the creative workshop section, the gastro section. We learn Hungarian through socializing and dancing. We are friends with all Hungarian cultural associations from all over Croatia and beyond the borders of Croatia, we cooperate with them through various joint cultural programs and we also cooperate with other minority associations from the Istrian County.
